Strawberry & Yuzu

Welcome to our new range, called 'Fusion', which combines Belgian strawberries with yuzu straight from Japan.
We first cooked the two ingredients before macerating them for the first time. This technique reveals aromas that we couldn't achieve with simple cold maceration. Then we follow our usual method: we fill our bottles with our delicious rum, mixed with the cooked and filtered ingredients, before adding fresh fruit to launch the second maceration phase. As you can see, we've created a real fusion between maceration of the cooked ingredients and cold maceration, as we traditionally do. A little extra touch: the yuzu used in the cold maceration is in the form of small peels, which, like snowflakes in a Christmas ball, create a surprising visual effect when you shake the bottle. As usual, this creation is best enjoyed at room temperature, but thanks to our many research and development sessions (in other words, after many tastings), we've found that tasting the product chilled gives it even more pizzazz. The best advice we can give you is to try it both ways and make up your own mind. There's nothing better.
